PRO TIP: Turn the below recipe into Italian hot dogs
by placing them in buns and covering them in tasty peppers and onions.

 

Ingredients

12 Maria’s Italian Sausage Links (Grilled) (Provided)
2 ea Red, Yellow, & Green Peppers (Grilled)
2 oz Olive Oil or Peanut Oil
To Taste Kosher Salt
To Taste Ground Black Pepper
Pinch Chopped Parsley
Pinch Chili Flakes (Optional)

Procedure

  • On a medium heat, grill Maria’s sausage linkssmall_sausage-post
  • Cut peppers in half, seeded, then brush with oil, sprinkle with salt & pepper, then grill or sauté until soft
  • Peel the onion & slice into 1/2″ wheels, brush with oil, sprinkle with salt & pepper, then grill or sauté until soft
  • Arrange the whole grilled sausage on a platter
  • Cut the grilled peppers into 1/2″ wide strips & arrange on top of the sausage
  • Cut the grilled onions in half then place on top of the sausage & peppers
  • Adjust seasoning if needed
  • Garnish with chopped parsley & chili flakes for heat
