Who’s prouder of my mamma: Steve Harvey or Me?
You often hear about Moms bragging about their Kids. And you often hear Kids complaining and rolling their eyes about their Moms.
Well the older I get, the smarter I think my Mom is..she is also feistier…
The Maria you all watched on the show produced by Steve Harvey and Ellen DeGeneres “Little Big Shots: Forever Young” was the censored but true image of my mother Maria. She does not have filters and that can be challenging for her kids but is a true joy to others.
You see growing up with my mom was sometime embarrassing. She would yell, curse one moment, then she can laugh and give you a big hug the next. She is not technically bi–polar she is just a PROUD passionate Napolitano Italian from Hoboken, New Jersey.
We grew up in a small house, just south of Pico in West LA, yet all of my friends who lived in larger homes wanted to hang out at our house… it was crazy and colorful and delicious.
My mom would ask “did you eat? Are you hungry? Sit down!”, and always found room in our cramped dining area.
So Mom I am proud of who you are and that you emulate kindness and caring for others.
You taught us that when it comes to food ONLY THE PURIST quality matters and always make room at your table… you never know who may be hungry or stopping by.
Now let’s get you that Cooking Show you always wanted… and get that cook book written too.
Love your biggest Fan,
P.S. My Mother wanted to share her the ingredients to the sauce you all saw on TV…
