POSITION OVERVIEW

  2. Role Requirements
    1. Must be Tech savvy and able to learn Point of Sale platforms
    2. Must be fluent in English, Speak Clearly, and have Superior Phone Etiquette
    3. Must be a people-person, must be Nice, Respectful, a self-motivator, have a cheerful disposition, out-going, enthusiastic and be tolerant of close contact with other people
    4. Able to handle conflict in a professional manner
    5. Must have an “Of Service” Mind-Set
    6. Unexpired California Food Handlers Certification
    7. Able to Total bills, accept payment, accurately handle cash and credit card transactions
    8. Compile daily financial reports

Position Responsibilities and tasks

  • Know your work Schedule and be on time for every shift
  • Adhere to Uniform Standards (Correct, Clean, and Professional) at all times
  • Take Phone orders
  • Understand, Value and Follow Safe Work Practices at all times
  • Learn Maria’s Menu by heart
  • Take accurate Guest Food Orders and input orders into the POS correctly
  • Ensure orders are correct for Pickup and Delivery
  • Accurately handle Customer transactions in a high volume environment
  • Assist Team when needed, such as but not limited to; Pre-Bussing tables, Seating Guests, Running food, and Hosting Duties
  • Provide a favorable image of Maria’s Italian Kitchen at all times and to promote our objectives and enhance public recognition of our areas of endeavor
  • Assist and support Co-Workers during the shift. Teamwork, Teamwork, Teamwork.
  • Maintain all work areas during the shift (Stocking, Cleanliness, etc…)
  • Complete Side-work thoroughly and in a timely manner with minimal supervision
  • Follow all Meal and Rest Break Requirements
  • Take direction from Management and Supervisors during your shift
  • Other duties as assigned
